Our goal for this decking renovation was to replace a tired, unsafe structure with a strong, attractive outdoor space that enhances both the property and everyday living. By removing the deteriorated existing deck and constructing a completely new timber frame, we created a durable and level foundation built to last. Finished with quality decking boards and clean picture-frame edging, the new design delivers a modern, timeless appearance while maximising usable garden space. The project involved removing the original deteriorated decking and subframe, which had become unsafe and no longer fit for purpose. We then constructed a completely new treated timber framework, carefully levelled and supported to provide a strong and durable base. New decking boards were installed throughout, creating a clean and modern surface with consistent spacing and alignment. A picture-frame border was added around the perimeter to give the deck a neat, premium finish. The overall layout was designed to maximise usable outdoor space while complementing the property. Finally, all elements were securely fixed, checked, and finished to deliver a safe, long-lasting, and high-quality result.
